Description
Gözel Seeds is expanding its team! We are looking for an experienced and field-active Seed Production Manager who can manage hybrid seed production processes for tomato, pepper, and cucumber varieties within our vegetable seed production company operating in Azerbaijan.
The candidate will be responsible for planning hybrid seed production, coordinating greenhouse and open-field operations, managing harvesting, fermentation, drying, and storage processes, controlling production risks, and conducting daily field monitoring with regular reporting.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of work experience in vegetable seed production
In-depth knowledge of hybrid production processes for tomato, pepper, and cucumber
Experience in controlled pollination and isolation techniques
Ability to manage both greenhouse and open-field production (knowledge of hydroponics is an advantage)
Responsible, results-oriented, and willing to work actively in the field
Strong teamwork skills and openness to long-term cooperation
